Lorna joined Winchester Mansions in December 2012 as Financial Manager, overseeing the financial operations and reporting for the company. Lorna has extensive experience in finance covering various industries and over 13 years experience in the hospitality industry. She is qualified with a BCom - Financial Management degree.
Lorna is passionate about the industry and her interests away from the office include wildlife and travelling.

Niall, born and raised in Cape Town, has an unrivalled passion for the enjoyment of good food and drink.  This enthusiasm bubbles over into the rest of his team and his natural mirth and loud, flamboyant nature is infectious. He shares this lust for life with others as he strives to put a personal touch on every experience at Harveys restaurant, a place created ‘for the love of good food and drink’.

Elizabeth has a solid 22 years hospitality experience, with two years spent in SA before heading of overseas for several years. She has worked in most departments of a hotel  and her employment history has included being a Restaurant Manager, Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, Sale & Marketing Manager, Reservations Manager and Revenue Manager. The last 5 years she spent in New Zealand at the Heritage Hotel Management Group as a Central Reservations Manager before joining Winchester Mansions in December 2012.

Executive Housekeeper Karen has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. She enjoys working with people, is highly motivated and is very passionate about the role she and her team play at Winchester Mansions. She thrives on making every guest's experience a memorable one and expects nothing less from her team. Karen has joined Winchester Mansions from the Protea Group where she has worked as their Executive Housekeeper for many years.

Executive Head Chef

Proudly German bred Jochen Riedel started his career in Germany where he worked at many different Michelin star restaurants. He moved to South Africa in 1995 where he worked at the Grande Roche in Paarl for 14 and a half years. He prefers cosmopolitan style cooking which can be seen in the diverse menus he has created for Harveys.  

Human Resources Manager

Kate has over 20 years generalist HR management experience in various industries. Most of her assignments were in Retail where her HR focus was 'providing service excellence'. In recent years she has had the opportunity to consult on projects that addressed effectiveness in organizations as well as effectiveness within individuals, building behavioural management competencies.
