The overnight was fantastic!!!  I am so impressed with the accommodation, and the rates!

It really is a great, value for money property and I will most definitely be doing bookings with you in the near future.
The Presidential Suite is great for families, and their attention to detail with the children’s gifts etc … was fabulous.
We arranged a babysitter with the hotel (within a couple of hours of our arrival) and it was a great service and most affordable.  The kiddies room service menu was perfect too!

Unfortunately we had a kiddies party at 12h00 & therefore missed the brunch, but thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast.

We will return with friends in the near future to enjoy the brunch – that is for sure!!!!

Thank you so much for organising this and I look forward to Travel Exclusively African supporting you as much as

possible in the future.

Mir hat das Hotel gut gefallen. Besonders die Möglichkeit morgens an der Beach zu laufen und abends den Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse zu geniessen.

Auch den Innenhof mit Abendessen und Frühstück fand ich sehr gut. Preis/Leistung akzeptabel. Personal sehr nett. Ich komme wieder.

Wenn wir nach Kapstadt kommen gehört das Winchester Mansions für uns  immer dazu.

To the manager and all the staff,

My husband and I stayed at Winchester Mansions on  November 11th-15th 2009. We were travelling around South Africa for our honeymoon and had planned for Cape Town to be the final stop of our whirlwind tour.
We had originally booked to stay at a different hotel in Cape Town for 5 nights, however on checking in on 10th November 2009, we discovered that there was a toilet in our bedroom, which was anything but romantic and we quickly decided that we would need to find somewhere else to stay.
The staff at Winchester Mansions were all so accommodating and kind, it seemed the obvious choice to change to. Our first dealings were with Andrew who reassured us that our room would be lovely.
We promptly checked out of our previous hotel and moved in to Winchester Mansions on November 11th 2009. Little did we know, but we had been upgraded to the Robben Island Suite to truly make our honeymoon a never-to-forget experience.
All the staff were so helpful, providing us with recommendations of things to see when the weather was bad, the location was brilliant and the breakfast was exceptional. Overall, we couldnt recommed Winchester Mansions highly enough.
 
We just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful experience at such short notice. We would certainly hope to stay at Winchester Mansions again in the future,

Wir sind gut zuhause angekommen und haben uns bei Ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war sehr aufmerksam, das Zimmer mit allem Komfort ausgestattet.

Die Rezeption hat unsere Wünsche (z.B. Bestätigung der Rückflüge) umgehend erfüllt. Der Service und die Mahlzeiten im Restaurant waren so excellent, dass wir jeden Abend dort gegessen haben (eigentlich wollten wir wenigstens einmal abends in die Stadt fahren).

Die Lage des Hotels war für unsere Bedürfnisse ausgezeichnet: Einerseits direkt am Meer, andererseits an einer Hauptstraße, vom Flughafen aus leicht erreichbar, und vom Hotel aus waren Ausflüge mit dem Mietwagen nach Süden und nach Norden kein Problem. Außerdem ist die Bushaltestelle Hop On - Hop Off direkt vor dem Haus.

Wir waren also sehr zufrieden, bedanken uns bestens für Ihren aufmerksamen Service und kommen gerne wieder einmal in Ihr schönes Haus.

I enjoyed every moment of my stay at The Winchester Mansions. It was great. The staff are wonderful – friendly, professional and available for customer service at all times; keep it up.

Your location is amazing – accessible to other interesting places, safe and peaceful. The hotel’s history is no doubt something to be proud of. It compares well with The Stanley, Nairobi, which is now 107 years.

As I put on the comment card, the positives in your hotel far outweighs any deviation from those positives. Life dictates that sometimes there is always something to work on, but honestly, you are doing  very well and you should keep on doing it.

Pass my regards to your team; long live Winchester Mansions; long live Sunny Cape Town… I saw a table cloth on top of the Table Mountain on Sunday morning. That was something!

Both my son and I were so very pleased with the Winchester Mansions Hotel. Everything was just perfect! The food was excellent, the service 100%, and all the staff were so extremely polite and kind. I could nopt have spent a more wonderful week in Cape Town than I did at the Winchester. You can be certain that the next time I come to your city, I will not request any other place to stay for myself and family. I have already recommended your hotel to my friends here in Belgium.  The only problem with staying at the Winchester Mansions is that one doesn't want to leave!!!

Thank you for your note which we received on our return from South African at the end of
May.We had an excellent stay at your hotel. We have visited Capetown around 20 times
over the past years but had never stayed at the Winchester Mansions. We saw a review of
your hotel in our Sunday Telegraph newspaper and looked it up on the website and kept
the details until next time we visited - which was April/May.

From South Africa we went to Dubai and Oman - which were extremely hot. 44 degrees
most of the time.

Your food was superb and our room (suite) was lovely. It was spotlessly clean and luxurious.
Your waiting staff and bar staff were so helpful, friendly and efficient- even the trainees
who we understoodcame from a local Catering School. We also thought it an excellent idea
to offer the dinner, room andbreakfast rate which of course encouraged us to drink your wine
and drink at your bar!!!! A wonderful idea.

We ourselves owned and ran a Country House Hotel (Penhaven Country House -
www.penhaven.co.uk) until June 06 when we sold it so we are aware of all the difficulties in
running a hotel.

Yours was first class and we will stay at Winchester Mansions when we next return to Capetown.
