Although from Germany, Nils is also a proud South African and is extremely passionate about this amazing diverse country that has now been home for the past twenty years and cannot wait to share it with you!

Financial Director

Nurudien, a born and bred proud Capetonian keeps on counting the beans as well as looking after many other aspects of the hotel. Most of these are relating to the ever-changing world of IT. (excluding this site!!)

Liesel grew up in the Eastern Cape, but has been living in Cape Town for a very long time. After completing a BA degree in Bloemfontein, she started her hotel career at City Lodge as Reservations Clerk. Liesel has since been loyal to the industry (apart from the break she took when she became a mom 9 years ago) and worked at fine establishments such as The Bay in Camps Bay, Villa Via, the Cullinan and Park Inn Greenmarket Square.
She is in charge of the Reservations team and of course maximising the hotels revenue.

Executive Head Chef

Christophe joined the team in 2008 as Executive Head Chef . Originating from France, as all the best chefs do, after his training he gained valuable international experience working in London, Florida and even a spell on the cruise liners. However for the past 18 years, Germany has been his home, where he worked in various five star hotels until five years ago when he opened his own successful restaurant in Frankfurt. Becoming a first time father a short while ago, made Christophe look for a change in lifestyle for him and his family, as well as a new culinary challenge. We are pleased this decision brought Christophe to Cape Town and ‘The Mansions’  where he is already adding his French traditional flair to local South African Cuisine.

Human Resources Manager

Wendy, yet another proud local has the difficult job of finding and then recruiting the special people who make ‘The Mansions’ the friendly place it is.

Having started her hospitality career on the operations side , she soon found that her passion lay with Human Resources .The rest they say is history! Careers @ the Mansions
