I write to express my thanks for a most pleasant stay, we booked over the Internet on the basis of the photo's and description, which as I'm sure you know can not always be delivered by some companies, I am pleased to say that such was our delight that we had to bring our friends back at the end of our stay.
You staff were always smiling and willing to assist, baby sitters were arranged without any problems, which gave us the opportunity to go out and relax, the suit was just like a private flat.
I will without doubt be staying with you in the future and have already recommended your Hotel to a friend, thank you again for looking after myself and my family so well, and please pass on my thanks to your staff.

Myself and my husband recently stayed at the Winchester Mansions during a trip to Africa. Unfortunately we are now back in dreary England but I would just like to say how pleased we were with our choice of hotel. Our room was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the location was perfect. If only we were back in the sunshine having drinks out the front watching the sun set, then after having dinner in the restaurant whilst listening to the superb pianist.

Thank you for your note which we received on our return from South African at the end of
May.We had an excellent stay at your hotel. We have visited Capetown around 20 times
over the past years but had never stayed at the Winchester Mansions. We saw a review of
your hotel in our Sunday Telegraph newspaper and looked it up on the website and kept
the details until next time we visited - which was April/May.
From South Africa we went to Dubai and Oman - which were extremely hot. 44 degrees
most of the time.
Your food was superb and our room (suite) was lovely. It was spotlessly clean and luxurious.
Your waiting staff and bar staff were so helpful, friendly and efficient- even the trainees
who we understoodcame from a local Catering School. We also thought it an excellent idea
to offer the dinner, room andbreakfast rate which of course encouraged us to drink your wine
and drink at your bar!!!! A wonderful idea.
We ourselves owned and ran a Country House Hotel (Penhaven Country House -
www.penhaven.co.uk) until June 06 when we sold it so we are aware of all the difficulties in
running a hotel.
Yours was first class and we will stay at Winchester Mansions when we next return to Capetown.

Rather than complete the standard questionnaire when I left on Sunday morning I thought it would be better to write a personnel mail as questionnaires only give statistics and sometimes do not give a true impression of the time spent in the hotel. We were so happy to have chosen the Mansions as our hotel and our time was made even better due to the excellent, friendly, vibrant and interactive staff working at the Mansions, they were all fantastic to us both. We could only personally thank the people we dealt with and there are others we never had the chance to meet and I would be obliged if you could pass on our thanks to everyone and in particular Heinrich Robinson and Heinrich Le Meyer who were both excellent along with Bradley and all the other staff in the bar. The staff are a great asset to the hotel and I hope we have the opportunity to stay with you again.

Just a note to say that Priscilla & I had one of the best holidays of our life, with our stay at Winchester Mansions being one of the highlights. We award you & your staff 11 out of 10! (put wider beds on the top floor and you will score 12 out of 10!) We will definitely come again - maybe 2010.
Thanks for your advice on visiting the Frankshoek Hotel - a really impressive place where we had a wonderful lunch.

Both my son and I were so very pleased with the Winchester Mansions Hotel. Everything was just perfect! The food was excellent, the service 100%, and all the staff were so extremely polite and kind. I could nopt have spent a more wonderful week in Cape Town than I did at the Winchester. You can be certain that the next time I come to your city, I will not request any other place to stay for myself and family. I have already recommended your hotel to my friends here in Belgium. The only problem with staying at the Winchester Mansions is that one doesn't want to leave!!!

We have never experienced this kind of reception in any other places we visited. After our first visit to the Winchester in February 2007,there was no way we would go elsewhere in Cape Town this year.
